Nigella hit Bondi Beach, Australia this week with comedian Maria McErlane only to have heads a turning. Why? Well, instead of exhibiting those voluptuous curves we all know and love, a black fully covered figure stalked the sands and splashed about in the blue clear waters.
Miss Lawson, 51, usually exuding sexual appeal with her flirtatious manner and racy outfits has it would seem, taken a new lease in life.
This, however is not a sudden change in religious beliefs but instead a transformation of ‘fashionable’ thinking. What was she thinking?!
Well, according to her spokesman: “Nigella was protecting herself from sunburn, nothing more than that.”
A step too far perhaps.
The Telegraph’s description of her ‘creamy complexion’ feasibly allows this explanation to be on some level accepted. Alas I am pretty sure at the back of Nigella’s savvy mind; a thought was cast for the new and mounting interest in Burkini’s as a fashion statement.
Unfortunately she looks more like beach whale than beach babe.
